There will be weekends where you will wake up to the sound of the fireworks and fireworks, since in San Miguel de Allende there are constant religious festivities, one of the biggest attractions of the city.

In June the city rejoices with the parade of the crazy people where more than a thousand people go out to dance in the streets, all disguised, paying honor to the Saint Patron Saint of Padua.

On September 15, the most important national celebration, Independence, takes place. The following weekend the Alborada is celebrated, where it is danced until three o'clock in the morning and fireworks are burned in honor of San Miguel Arcángel, accompanied by music and fireworks.

The traditions of the town become mystical and colorful parades accompanied by folk dances from different regions of the country. It is in this way that San Miguel de Allende preserves the spirit of local customs.
